The tick season has started along with the fantastic weather we’ve had in April this year.<\/p>\n

We have taken the necessary precautions, which means vaccination against TBE for me and for Dempsey, it’s unfortunately Frontline (spot-on treatment ) that applies, because all alternative methods we have tested don’t work as intended.<\/p>\n

A long-haired outdoor cat who loves life in the woods can present some challenges, and one of them is that our house isn’t tick free zone during the summertime.<\/p>\n

By combing Dempsey when he comes in from his adventures in the wild, I get hold of most small beasts before they start to feed on the cat or get too attached to me.<\/p>\n
